Karate Do
Bushido (“Way of the Warrior”) is a way of life encompassing certain moral virtues such as justice, discipline, courage, compassion, pride, politeness, sincerity, honesty, honor, duty, loyalty, self control, education, tradition and respect. Bushido is the brilliance that illuminates “The Way.”
Bushido teaches loyalty to God, Love of Family, loyalty to the Warrior's Leader and love of Country. It teaches the importance of the governing and the governed (Leader and Follower), between Father and Child, Husband and Wife, Older and Younger Brother and between friend and friend.
It teaches the importance of: In all things living with HONOR and PRIDE. In all things living with HUMILITY.
It teaches having LOYALTY to your obligations: To God To Self To Parents To Country To Employer To Sensei (Teacher) To Friends.
